To sum up the 1st half of the curling season, we had 3 trophy winners in 3 different venues. In mens flight, the winners of the Calvert trophy playing from October to December were : Larry Cooper, Dave Salmon, Jim Casselman, and John Allison. January to March the men play for the Pat Lid trophy.

Winners of Thursday morning mixed curling was the team of Perter Zeran, John Gove, Keith Barkley, Linda Murphy.

In daytime mens action, congratulations go to the winners of the Bowman Trophy: Pete Zeran, Chuck Irvine, John Allison, Mark MacDonald

Second Place: Moe Kolff, Terry Davis, Ken Paice

Third Place: Sam Locke, Dave Salmon, Mike Horton, Ron Beaupre

Leading the Thursday night competitive league for the 1st half of the season was the team of Robert Houze, Mahlon Locke, Maurice Kolff and Anita Cooper.

The 2nd half of the season has started on a positive note. There are 9 teams in the Tuesday night mens league, 10 teams in both the Thursday morning mixed and Thursday night competitive leagues and 13 teams in the fun filled Friday night mixed group.

This week there are 2 senior men’s teams travelling to Prescott on Friday  to compete for the Parnell trophy. On Saturday,  the ladies are going to Winchester to vie for the Broder Cup. That same day, here at home, we are conducting a combination Little Rock/Bantam bonspiel beginning at 10:00 am.
